Rodger Bradley

Lead Pastor

Rodger is the Founding and Lead Pastor of Church on the Rock. With a ministry journey that began in 1986, Rodger’s mission is crystal clear: he’s all about bringing the healing gospel of Jesus Christ to those whom the world has left behind.

His mantra? Well, it’s borrowed from Martin Luther: “We’re just one beggar telling other beggars where we found food.” Rodger’s vision for Church on the Rock is simple yet profound: “Reaching the Un-Churched, Un-Saved, Un-Connected and making them fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”

When he’s not busy spreading the Good News, you’ll likely find Rodger on the golf course, swinging those clubs with passion. And did we mention he’s a die-hard Elvis fan? Rock ‘n’ roll and golf – that’s quite the combination!

Rodger tied the knot with his sweetheart, Missy Bradley, on Valentine’s Day in 2012 in the picturesque Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Rodger & Missy have 4 grown children and are affectionately known as Mimi & Poppy by their 7 grandchildren.

Missy, is a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated Mimi. When she’s not on the go, Missy enjoys exploring new places and cherishing precious moments with their ever-growing family.

Together, Rodger and Missy are not only a force for faith but also a family that radiates love and joy in all that they do.

Joshua Smith

Youth Pastor

Hello, everyone! My name is Joshua Smith, and I’m excited to share a little bit about myself. I am a dedicated family man, a passionate children’s pastor, and someone who finds joy in serving my community.

First and foremost, I am incredibly blessed to have my wonderful wife, Imari, by my side. Together, we have been blessed with four amazing children who bring so much love and laughter into our lives – Xzavier, Carson, Christian, and Cayden.

From a young age, my faith has played a significant role in shaping who I am today. I have been a member of Church on the Rock since I was 15 years old, and over the years, I have had the privilege of contributing to the growth of our church family. Specifically, I have dedicated my time and energy to Kids Rock, our children’s ministry. What started as a volunteer position when I was 15 years old has now evolved into my current role as the Children’s Pastor. Working with kids and helping them build a strong foundation in their faith is truly a calling I cherish.

When I’m not serving within the church, you can find me pursuing various hobbies that bring me joy. I love diving into a good book and getting lost in its pages. Reading not only helps me gain knowledge but also allows me to explore different perspectives and ideas. Additionally, sports have always held a special place in my heart. Playing basketball and watching football and basketball games are passions of mine. They not only provide entertainment but also teach valuable lessons about teamwork, resilience, and competition.

Currently, I reside in Pascagoula, MS, where I feel an immense connection to the community. I believe in the power of giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of others. That’s why working with kids and participating in ministry work is so fulfilling for me. Being able to guide them, teach them, and show them God’s love is an incredible blessing.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me, Joshua Smith. I strive to make a difference in the lives of children and inspire others to find their purpose in serving the community.
